This little mini fern is what got me started. It was love at first sight!
I found a few more plants to go along with it and found my box/planter at a barn sale this past weekend.
I will show more pics when I have finished it.

I also purchased this Irish moss

and this cute clump of ground cover

to put in my rock garden.

I think I will make this a fairy garden as well.

I have to find a toad house somewhere -

it will not be complete until I do.

I have been interested in history now more than ever and Mr. Washington has caught my attention. He was a very religious and patriotic man. I have been reading his farewell address and taking my time to do so.

Snowman Ornament...

I've been making these little guys to sell at my show and thought I'd try to sell one on my blog.

He's made from clay. I've sculpted, painted and added a piece of cotton flannel for a scarf. This little snowball is 1 1/2 inches wide. I've put a piece of jute string on for hanging.

The second photo captures his true colors.

The Rug

This is my rug that I chose to be on my floor. It has a story. My grandfather collected wool pieces and sent them to a rug factory which in turn made a rug out of the pieces. This is one of the two rugs I inherited. The other rug is huge. It was made to cover a large livingroom.

It goes well in here. I think Grandma & Grandpa would be pleased.

This is a braided rug I've started. I put it in a bowl and didn't know if I should finish it- I think it looks good right where it is.
I made a curtain to hide all my stuff on this bookshelf.

Remember this cupboard Linda? I just LOVE this piece!! I purchased this little number from "The Keepingroom" here in Waynesburg - along with my dressform.
Well, it's Friday night and I'm sewing up a few things that needed attention.

I ran across this little beauty in my driveway!!

This is an Eastern Massagua Rattle snake.

If you look it up it is rather rare to see one.

This one is a baby-so that means there is a mom, dad and a few bothers and sisters

around here somewhere!!!!!

As you can see this one is in a striking position- would not scare for no love or money and waited for us to leave the area.

Can't wait till next spring when I start weeding my flowerbeds!!!!

I purchased the track lighting- makes it feel like a studio.

I used Valspar paint. The walls are eggshell/Barcelona White.

I've been painting my room and thought I'd take a break and show you what I've found in my field. I had my outside helper "Boots" looking for the cutest mushrooms!! The first pic is of a weed that I just love to look at - the colors are beautiful!!

I have wood paneling, so I will be painting it a warm white/cream color. I think I will be painting the ceiling the same color. This is a smaller room so the cream will open it up.

This is the coziest set of sheets yet!!! They won't shrink because they are polyester. I was afraid they would snag on my fingers but no they don't. I highly recommend these sheets if you like to snuggle and keep warm!!

My husband races RC cars all year round and once a month he races in Pennsylvania. This cute mill is in one of the towns where he raced. While he races I take pictures and venture around to different places.

I tried to get my pictures in order but it didn't turn out that way. Soo... this is a pic of the girl who rode before me today. She was riding a beautiful Hanoverian gelding.

All the horses were feeling good - the wind between their ears and the cool temp.

Makes for an interesting ride!!

My first crop of carrots out of the garden. It's amazing how they taste so different from the ones in the store.

I went to a dressage clinic today. Francesca Nicoletti was the instructor/teacher. This is me and Agustus.

Had a great time!!
